Edge Therapies, LLC unfortunately does not participate in or submit directly to insurance plans. We have learned that by not billing insurance companies directly, we are able to provide individualized, elevated and expert therapy services directly to the patient and family. It is based on the needs of the child and what is in the best therapeutic interest, as opposed to those benefits being determined by a third party. Third party providers don’t always deem our services ‘necessary’ and are limited to treating only certain children with a certain approved diagnosis. They unfairly disqualify children from services that true need our support.

Payment is requested at the time of service and may be made via cash, personal check or credit card. We do accept Care Credit. We are also a direct provider for the Family Empowerment Scholarship for students with Unique Abilities (formerly known as Gardiner) through the Step Up for Students.

For those that have out-of-network benefits with their insurance, we do provide a Superbill, which is a receipt of service inclusive of all necessary codes/information should you wish to submit it. However, we cannot guarantee reimbursement. We recommend you call your insurance ahead of time in order to understand what to expect as far as reimbursement. For those participating in an HSA/FSA plan, you are able to use those funds for direct payment.

Lastly, we are happy to assist with recommendations for your local and national scholarships that may assist with the financial investment for therapy.
